Ron's Comment: The Coyotes and Blue Jackets have been pretty much identical the last few weeks, as both teams are 3-2 in their last 5, 5-5 in their last 10 and they are both coming off impressive wins over an opponent with an over .500 record. The Coyotes are going with Bryzkalov tonight, while Columbus will counter with Mason. Columbus has been playing some great hockey, but Rick Nash has not tickled the twain in 9 games. Not sure I'm ready to lay my money on Columbus as a home favorite just yet, they were 12-15 SU last season as a home favorite and they aren't trustworthy just yet!

Ottawa has always been a run and gun hockey team the last few seasons, but they've realize they don't have the defense they once had and the forwards are more involved in their defensive zone. Tough lost last night for Carolina and fatigue could be setting in, as this is their 3rd game in 4 nights and it's a back to back situation. When OTTAWA team played as a Road team - Vs Non Division Opponent - Last 5 years - Coming off a 2 game winning streak; The Sens are 11-4 SU in this role L5Y.

Buffalo has been off 3 days, so rust could cost them early and they have their division rivals on deck, the Boston Bruins!

The Pens are 10-2 SU LY4 as a Home Favorite and they are coming off a game where they won by 3 Goals or More.

Ron's Comment: The Leafs can’t continue to play catch up hockey and give big leads at the beginning of the game and now you’re seeing the inexperience cash in. The Bruins let one slip away against this same Leafs team last month and I’m pretty sure they won’t let that happen again. Leafs have the Habs on Saturday night, so look ahead spot here too for the Buds. Toronto is 3-7 SU as a road underdog before a division game the last 2 seasons.

Plus, Ward is 10-4 SU vs. Washington with 3 shutouts!

Dangerous game for the Sharks, they might not take this Blues team serious and fall into their trap.

The best player on the ice tonight is wearing number 61 and he’s a Blue jacket! The UNDER is 10-2-1 for the Blue Jackets as a road team the last 4 Years and they are coming off 2 or more OVERS.

Buffalo finally got off their 3 game losing streak last game, as they shutout the Capitals 5-0. The Sabres are 11-5 SU the last 2 years as a road underdog after scoring 5 or more Goals For in their last game.

Ron's Comment: OK, gut check time for the Avalanche tonight and maybe playing in back to back games is a good thing for Colorado, as they can put last night’s 5-3 lost to San Jose behind them. The Avs are playing against their old coach Joey Quenneville and Chicago has played some cup cake games the last few times out. Ryan Smyth stated to the Denver Post the team played strong last night, but conceded they got caught watching the game on some shifts. Therefore, look for the Avs to come out stronger tonight and great line value on Budaj who is 4-0 lifetime vs. Chicago. The Avs are 8-2 (SU as a Road team vs. a Western conference opponent and coming off a 3 game losing streak since ’98.
